Sanitation Policies and Procedures for a Safe and Healthy Studio Practice During COVID-19

COVID-19 COMMUNICATION

As we begin to navigate towards a  reopening we want to share what we’ve worked hard on to bring you a safe space to retreat and return to. The safety of The Yoga Loft Team and community is so very important. Creating a space where all feel welcome and safe is our goal. We will transition back into the studio with a soft reopening starting Monday, June 1st. We know many of you are just as excited to return to the studio to practice while some are reluctant and just not ready. That is why we will take baby steps in this reopening and have a blend of in studio and virtual class offerings.

In following recommended guidelines we have implemented limited in studio class sizes, taped mat spacing to a minimum of 6ft.,  and so much more. Please see all of our policies and procedures outlined below. We will continue to make modifications as more information is known.

Upon reopening, we ask for your kindness and grace as we navigate this new way of gathering. Together we will find our way!

Class Registration Procedures

  • Students will be required to pre-register for class online. No drop ins will be allowed at this time.

  • We will only have limited spots available. We meet guidelines with mat marker spacing a minimum of 6ft distance. You can pre-register up to 30 days in advance.

  • Classes temperature will range 72-80 degrees.

  • With limited studio space and some excited to return we will be diligent in enforcing our 2 hour cancellation policy to ensure space for students wanting to come to the studio. You are able to cancel up to 2 hours before class for your pass to return to your account. Please do your best to not no-show during this time, as we do not want to charge a no-show fee.

  • Arrive 10 minutes prior to class start time to allow for new check in processes. This is a must to be able to safely set up for practice. Doors will be locked, as always, at the start of class.

  • Pre-pay for class packages online whenever possible.

  • For your first visit, regardless if you have ever been to the studio, you are required to sign an updated liability waiver when prompted.

  • In studio Restorative and Yin classes will be moved to paid series classes for sanitary guidelines. Upon registration you will be assigned yoga props to be used during the 4 week session. Props include bolster, blocks, blankets and straps. Props will be stored in the provided bag and stored at The Yoga Loft for the duration of the series. This will limit props only coming into contact with you. Props are sanitized between series.

  • Do not come to class if you are feeling under the weather, including, but not limited to flu or COVID-like symptoms. If you register for class and decide that it is best to cancel follow standard cancellation through MindBody. If you DO cancel with the assumption that you have COVID-19 symptoms, you will be asked to refrain from in studio practice for at least 14 days or until you have received a negative test result for COVID-19. We do offer virtual classes that you can attend from home.
