Restorative Yoga by Candlelight
4-week In Studio Series
Thursday's January 7, 14, 21, 28
Restorative yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. You will move through only a few postures through the course of an hour. This allows the body to fully relax, restore and let go. Practice is held in the glow of candlelight and soul soothing music. You will leave feeling dreamy.
Yoga For Bigger Body Parts
1/10 | 2:30-4:00
w/ Annie Beauchaine
This workshop is designed to bring yoga to those who feel that the traditional class setting is not providing the support and encouragement that is needed to feel successful in yoga. We will learn how to modify poses to fit our body parts and yoga props to support us in our practice. Feel empowered in your yoga practice and a a new appreciation for your body and all it can do through movement and breath.
Restorative Yoga + Journaling
4-week In Studio Series
Sunday's- starting 1/17
Enjoy a relaxing afternoon with Jenn and experience yoga journaling. Journaling like yoga is a very personal experience. Yoga and Journaling are both doorways to a deeper relationship with ourselves. Enjoy the flow of breath and body and let your words follow. A restorative yoga sequence typically involves only five or six yoga poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twist, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends.

THE GOAL OF YOGA
(No, it's not a headstand)
The yoga pose is not the goal. Becoming flexible is not the goal. Standing on your hands is not the goal.
The goal is to create a space where you were once stuck. To unveil layers of protection you've built around your heart. To appreciate your body and become aware of the mind and the noise it creates.
To make peace with who you are.
The goal is to love, well...You.
Come to your yoga mat to feel; not to accomplish.
Shift your focus and your heart will grow.
